I am loving working with fabric on both the plate and the backgrounds on the paper. There are 6 prints in the edition and they are all varied.
(Mother Nature Needs a Cup of Tea) started out with an old beat up aluminium plate with Skylight polymer film laminated unto the plate. Then the FUN part – playing wth fabric and and stencils I had made on the exposer unit. I think I exposed it a minute and a few seconds. I have a 1000 watt bulb.
I am loving all the texture on the paper.
This was the first print pulled. I changed the figure to Ivy because Mother Nature needs strength. And Ivy is a symbol for strength, resilience and quiet determination. She needs a strong cup of tea these days!
